What is a Traumatic Incident?

Feelings that may be experienced with a Traumatic Incident are those of anxiety, depression, sleeplessness, unexpected anger, fright and mental blocks.

Traumatic Incident Reduction

Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) is a person-centered approach used to rapidly and effectively reduce the feelings associated with a traumatic event or other such emotionally and/or physically painful events.

The technique consists of a series of instructions aimed at guiding you as the viewer to locate and review a traumatic event, bringing forth memories, so that the full incident can be reviewed and the emotional charge associated with the event can be released once and for all.

Unblocking is a method used under the scope of TIR which focuses primarily on relationships, situations or specific circumstances. Unblocking does not have to be applied to a specific trauma related to these categories however they should carry an emotional charge.

In an unblocking session you will present the facilitator with the topic of discussion, around which the facilitator will ask a set of questions. These are aimed at guiding your mind through that topic in order for you, as the viewer, to come to a realisation and feel an emotional shift with regards to that topic.
